Pelvis & Leg Relationships in Dance

In this 6 week series we will sense into & investigate the relationship between the pelvis and femur. Dancers research their personal movement as clues to the science presented and practice ways of moving that consider anatomy, skeletal support and joint articulations. We’ll tap kinetic energy to harness dynamic and enjoyable dancing.
Topics:
-Walking, crawling, rolling principles
-Conserving, harnessing and recycling energy
-Sequential movement
-Fluid dancing from the floor to standing
