April 19 from 1–8 PM, we invite you to join us for Mural on the River. A day-long celebration of art, community, and the San Lorenzo River that connects us.
This isn’t just an event it’s a gathering. A chance to move through shared spaces, experience local creativity, and celebrate the people and places that make Santa Cruz feel like home.
Spanning San Lorenzo Park, the Dragon’s Gate Bridge, and The 418 Project, Mural on the River will bring together artists, community organizations, food vendors, and neighbors for a full day of creative activation.

And we still have space so more may come!
We’re building this event with our community—centering local artists, collaboration, and the shared experience of being together in place.
Mural on the River is created in collaboration with the City of Santa Cruz, Lions & Rabbits, and Ripple Effect Arts Festival, bringing together partners who are deeply invested in creative community-building and the future of our shared spaces.
Whether you come for the art, the music, the river, or the people—you are part of what makes this event meaningful.
Save the date. Bring a friend. Stay awhile.
